A Houston Remodeling Company Built Differently

PAEZ was built for clients who expect more than a crew and a list of trades. We bring craftsmanship, accountability, direct communication, construction coordination, permit management, and in-house capability together around one goal: building the project the right way.

Craftsmanship, Accountability & Responsibility for the Whole Project

PAEZ Construction is a Houston custom remodeling company built around a combination clients deserve to experience together: hands-on craftsmanship and professional project coordination. With more than 20 years of construction experience, full insurance, direct communication, and a detail-driven standard, we connect the planning behind a project to the way it is built.

More Than a List of Trades

A remodel may involve carpentry, tile, plumbing, electrical work, flooring, paint, and many other specialties. The client is not simply buying a collection of tasks. They are investing in a complete change to a home or business space, and every contribution must support that larger result.

PAEZ gives those responsibilities one coordinated route. We clarify what the project is meant to accomplish, bring participants and information into the right sequence, manage applicable permit dependencies, and keep field decisions connected to the agreed direction. We do not claim to self-perform every trade or accept every type of job.

Residential remodeling remains our primary focus: whole homes, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, Outdoor Living, and Custom Millwork. Selected commercial renovations and build-outs provide a focused path for businesses that value coordination, permit awareness, and professional finish execution.

Our Story: Experience Expressed Through Standards

Our story does not need an invented founding date or embellished timeline. Ed Paez and PAEZ Construction bring more than two decades of experience shaped by solving field problems, developing relationships, and learning how much clients remember about the way a project was handled.

Experience shows in the questions a builder asks. A small dimensional decision can affect cabinetry, lighting, countertops, and finish transitions. An existing condition can challenge the plan. A permit or inspection can influence sequence. Good judgment does not promise that variables disappear; it recognizes them, explains them, and responds with accountability.

Our Process: Clarity About What Comes Next

Remodeling becomes more manageable when objectives, decisions, participants, and dependencies are visible. Our Process moves from the first conversation through understanding goals, evaluating fit, defining scope, planning, permitting when applicable, preparation, construction, finishing details, and completion.

The exact path adapts to the project. A kitchen and a commercial build-out do not require identical steps. The consistent principle is that the client should understand the practical route forward without mistaking a conceptual process for rigid contract terms or a guaranteed outcome.

Built In-House: Craft With a Precise Meaning

Built In-House refers to custom cabinetry, millwork, built-ins, furniture, fabrication, woodworking, and detailing. Direct involvement can improve fit, customization, quality control, and the relationship between a crafted element and the surrounding architecture. The phrase does not claim that every system or construction trade is completed by PAEZ employees. Construction Coordination connects qualified participants, while Built In-House capability provides particular depth in the custom elements that often define how a finished room functions and feels.

What Accountability Looks Like in Practice

Accountability is visible when the scope is understood, the client knows who owns a question, and a change is connected to its consequences. It means discussing materials, trades, permits, inspections, and decisions in relation to the whole project rather than treating them as isolated events.

Craftsmanship begins before the finished surface. It begins with dimensions, proportions, substrates, sequence, and transitions. Planning and craft are not competing identities at PAEZ. Planning makes the details buildable; craft makes the plan tangible.

Built on Heritage. Crafted With Intention.

The PAEZ name carries a personal standard of responsibility. Heritage reflects personal values, cultural influence, respect for craft, and long-term thinking—not an unsupported claim about a founding year or a fictional multigenerational company history.

Our voice follows the same restraint we want in the work: professional, approachable, resourceful, and confident without exaggeration. PAEZ does not compete through coupons, manufactured urgency, or promises to make construction effortless. We aim to earn trust by connecting what we say to visible actions.

Built for Clients Who Value the Work Behind the Result

If you want a builder who treats coordination and craftsmanship as parts of the same responsibility, bring PAEZ the property, challenge, and priorities behind your project. We will help you identify the next practical conversation.
